Blackbird Pottery is a very small, one-person enterprise run by me, Mary McDonough. I have been making pottery for over 25 years and I also teach ceramics and design. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Arts from the University of Delaware. This website, created by my son, Kevin McDonough, as a Christmas gift, has turned out to be a great way to organize
my work. You will find folders of special installation projects, folders of ceramic pottery and ceramic sculpture, as well as folders containing the work of my students, listed under the "Gallery" section.
